WHO IS UNION ONE?

UNION ONE IS NOT THE INSURANCE CARRIER.

Union One Benefits Management (located in Lake Barrington, IL) is the plan administrator for your benefits plan. We are here to serve the IBEW Local 177 and its Members with every aspect of the plan, including:

Education/Enrollment Services – Union One educates Members about coverage options during open enrollments, and assists Members to enroll over the phone. Union One does not cold call Members.
Payment Processing – IBEW Local 177 plays NO role in the collection of monthly costs. Members pay for coverage out of their own bank account through a secure ACH process, Union One then remits the monthly costs to the insurance carrier.
Claims Advocacy/Personalized Service – Members submit claims by phone to Union One. Members are assigned a dedicated Union One Claims Advocate to help them navigate their claim.

Why We Do What We Do

We know the hardships that union families go through when burdened with an unexpected illness, injury or death. Too often there are minimal benefits being provided. We strive to shift the financial risk these claims create away from the Member and his/her family to an insurance carrier.
